This was Crystal's first album, produced by her favorite drummer on earth, Jon Farmer and recorded in an Uncle Bob's storage unit and Jon's garage. Crystal has a passion for dynamic rhythm that supports and guides the music through wave after wave of emotion. This passion becomes apparent in In through the Wires. It took Jon three months just to write the drum tracks to her prerecorded, acoutic scratch tracks. It is an album that comes straight from her acoustic guitar roots and into the arms of Jon's beautiful arrangements. It is slightly folk and a lot of rock with the first subtle wellings of electronic embellishments in songs like Own Way and Lullaby.
